Company Description
We provide management services to campgrounds, marinas, day use areas and other recreation sites for Federal, State and Local Agencies. These services include the maintenance and management of marinas, campgrounds, water recreation facilities, fast food service, fuel docks, boat rentals, bait and tackle stores and the sale of sundry items and services. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Manager at our Los Angeles, CA location. The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our outdoor recreation and camping facilities, including managing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining facilities, and implementing safety protocols. The Area Manager will also collaborate with other managers to develop and execute business strategies, maintain regulatory compliance, and achieve financial goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in outdoor recreation management or related field
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of environmental conservation and outdoor safety practices
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field (preferred)
